This dress is a collectable, hard to find piece of art. The dress' print is based on Aoshima's print Hanako from 2003. Aoshima is represented by Galerie Perrotin, you can see her work on their website. The dress has been exhibited in art shows, and is such wearable art!

Harris Glenn Milstead (October 19, 1945 - March 7, 1988) was an American singer and actor, known by his drag persona Divine. He appeared in several of John Waters' films, including Mondo Trasho, Multiple Maniacs, Pink Flamingos, Female Trouble, Polyester, and Hairspray, as part of Waters' regular troupe of actors known as Dreamlanders.

In related news: Gianni Versace was a good friend of the Jackson family, and one of Michael Jackson's favorite designers. During the Michael Jackson memorial, the whole family was dressed in custom made Versace. Apparently Janet Jackson contacted Donatella Versace to organize their clothing for the event, including black suits with gold ties and glittering gloves for the guys, and well cut dresses and hats for the women.
